Our work at South Side Settlement is building community. We are committed to recognizing, supporting and drawing on the artistic richness that is all around us. Poetry gives voice to the community of our shared lives, flowing through words, songs, laughter and tears. Sometimes poetry is the food we need, the cover for our heads, and the medicine that keeps us alive. So it is a special privilege for South Side Settlement to present an annual celebration of Poetry and Poets. Featured poets have included Stephen Dunn, Robert Pinsky,Eleanor Wilner, Li-Young Lee.
